Looking for an inexpensive computer with the latest technology? Don’t purchase until you read this.

As a certified computer technician and networking specialist, I'd like to teach you about the latest computer technology and advise you on a couple of things.  A lot of people try to sell VERY expensive computers just for the name.  Don't fall into this trap, as it usually DOES NOT matter the brand.  What matters are the magic "numbers", and how well the computer is maintained.

When I speak of the numbers, I'm speaking of the ones that indicate the specifications of the hardware inside of it. (i.e  Watts, storage space, bus speed, clock speed, frequency, bandwidth)  I have set up pages that explain the previous definitions, what they are, and what purpose they serve.  Now, I'm not going to mention any names, but would you believe that there are certain companies out there that charge between four and five thousand dollars for a "fast" computer that can be built with with the same specifications for only a few hundred dollars?  Well, believe it.  My purpose here is to help you find something that's new, that has the right numbers, which means a decent amount of storage space and RAM, a processor with a decent clock speed (GHz) and the right amount of cores (for parallel processing), a video card that suits your needs (preferably one that houses its RAM, rather than one that "borrows" from the system RAM), and a sound card that will let you hear whatever is going on.  This will be an ideal system for you and you won't have to spend thousands of dollars to achieve your next computer with the latest technology.

And the next thing I'd like to discuss is the software maintenance on the machine.  The operating system that's on there, whether it's Windows or Linux, is the platform that interfaces the hardware and your software.  If your hardware and software aren't communicating properly, because of various reasons, such as malware, too many programs and processes running at once, crashes due to different programs trying to allocate the same memory spaces, registry errors, fragmented disk(s), being overcrowded with various types of unnecessary files, appropriate action must be taken to fix it.  Many times, a partition must be wiped clean and a new operating system must be installed, due to a long build-up of problems that have been neglected for a long period of time.  However, this "last resort" isn't always necessary.  We'll get to that in full detail later on.  I have a very good line up of free programs that provide excellent maintenance, and as long as my small preventative measures are used periodically, the bigger problems will be less likely to occur.

Also, when you get the hang of things, make sure to check out my method of being 99% free of viruses by using virtual machines created by VMware.  I would say 100%, but sometimes even with clear instructions, configuration mistakes can be made.  These can cause certain unwanted consequences, which are usually reversible, especially using my method of hardware virtualization.  With my instructions and presentations, you shouldn't have any problems.

My site will offer you different options for building or buying your next machine, on the physical AND the application side, and using the latest computer technology.  The benefit you will get from using my site is that I will answer any question you need answered.  If I don't know the answer off the top of my head, I will try my best to find it from other reliable sources.  I'll guide you in the right direction, whether it's to buy a machine outright, or to put one together yourself.  I personally prefer the latter, as it's easier to troubleshoot something when you know EXACTLY what it's composed of, piece by piece.  However, the first way is A LOT easier.

I'm not here to sell you the most expensive products on my site.  I think you should either put together or purchase a fast computer that has excellent numbers (specifications) and that falls within your price range.  If you need help in your search, feel free to email me and I will give you an HONEST answer of whether I think it's a good deal or not, or what I think should be added to the package, whether it be hardware or software.

Good luck on building or purchasing your next fast, badass machine!
